Who is author and sports enthusiast Andrew Clarke?
Andrew Clarke is a Melbourne-based journalist and author. He has written and edited some 32 books and worked in many industries, blending his love of sport, music and automobiles with a passion for business and change.
His first ‘proper’ job in journalism was with the reincarnation of Footy Week magazine after his career an umpire was cut short by injury and he had discovered his love of writing (about cars) at university. Andrew has a life-long passion for music, having previously managed bands and provided magazine content, he’s now writing books on the subject!
His books range from biographies to books covering sports and music and include Matthew Lloyd: Straight Shooter; Skaifey: Life in the fast lane; AJ: how Alan Jones climbed to the top of Formula 1; An Awesome Ride; and Lydia Lassila: The will to fly.
He has two children whose personal interests inspire him. He loves Wikipedia.
