Mike Coward is a senior freelance journalist and one of Australia’s most experienced cricket writers and commentators having covered the game throughout the world since 1972. Formerly chief cricket writer for The Sydney Morning Herald and The Advertiser, Adelaide he was the cricket columnist for The Australian for 20 years to 2011. An experienced public speaker and compere, he has broadcast the game for radio and television and written, ghosted or edited 15 cricket books.

He was the interviewer for each of the eight programs in ABC television’s Cricket History series and for the extensive archive at the Bradman Museum and International Cricket Hall of Fame.
